English language jobs are on the rise in many parts of the world. If you fancy yourself to be relatively proficient in English, perhaps you will qualify for at least one of these English language jobs.

1.Language translator - You will be required to possess good English speaking and writing skills. You will also need to be very good in another language as well. One of the benefits of becoming a language translator is that you can become a freelancer operating from the comfort of your own home. Language translation is a booming industry - you just need reliable Internet access to participate.

2.English teacher in other countries - Again, you will need to know two languages: English and the native tongue of the people in your host country. Some countries that require the services of English teachers are Russia and China, as they open up their economies to the world.

3.Freelance writers - the freelance writing gigs you will encounter as a freelancer writer may take many forms. One day you may be required to write original content about general information of a relatively-tame topic such as avoiding hangnails; the next day, you might be asked to write an e-book about mind mapping. This is because the freelance writing field is so vast - about as vast as the scope of your mind. In freelance writing, similar to other freelancing types of English language jobs like language translation, you are only as good as your last performance so you need to be flexible when it comes to accepting topics to write about. You will need a stable Internet access line for this. You should also be prepared for days when there are no contracts, so you need to be always on the lookout for new clients and contracts to bid for.

4.Staff for job posting websites - There is an increase online of such job posting sites, probably because there are so many international English language jobs currently being offered. Who knows - you may begin as a staffer now but maybe eventually you could set up your own job posting website as well.

5.Company trainers in English - this is a form of English teaching job but with a twist: company trainers concentrate on honing their students' English language skills for company purposes. For example, if the company sells softdrinks in the international market, the company trainers may focus on the proficiency of company employees in selling the products in the host country. Or if the company makes cars in different parts of the world, then the company trainers have to assure that company employees who come from different countries will have a standard level of English proficiency to follow. Company trainers may have a hand in creating the company's Business English language manual for this purpose.

There are so many credible, well-paying international English language jobs out there. You are bound to find one to suit your credentials
