If you love to cook you don't only love food. You probably love food and everything it encompasses. Most of us will never become professional chefs, nor do we have the desire to. What we do have is a desire to cook wonderful meals for our friends and family in a well thought out kitchen with quality appliances and cookware. We want to have our love of food transcend into our kitchen. Our kitchen is not only the place where we can show off our culinary passions, it's also the place where we can show off our personality.

What's your kitchen theme? Is your kitchen theme roosters? Apples? Fruit? Flowers? Ladybugs? You will easily be able to find a lot of different decorating ideas for kitchen themes. You'll find wallpaper, tablecloths and napkins, dish rags, salt and pepper shakers, placemats, and the list goes on. My kitchen theme is Tuscan. No, not original at all but it's Tuscan how I see it, and it works for me. I've been able to incorporate my choice of stoneware dinnerware into my kitchen theme. I chose Vietri Cucina Fresca as my tableware. This dinnerware goes perfectly with my Tuscan kitchen. This stoneware dinnerware wouldn't be the first choice from some. It needs some TLC. It has to be pre-heated in the oven and you can't use the heated dry cycle on the dishwasher.

Along with my stoneware dinnerware I also have fine table linens that I pull out for special occasions. I've gotten a Sferra Bros linen tablecloth and one from Yves Delorme. These weren't cheap at all, but they are heirloom quality fine table linens that add something special to my dinner table.

If you're looking for kitchen appliances or kitchenware always look discount. There is no reason to pay full price if you don't have to. Shop the sales. Wait for the big yearly sales. When you're looking at discount kitchen appliances never let your pocketbook be your only guide. Buy what you need. Do you know how large of a new kitchen refrigerator you should buy? We do. Any space that sits empty in your refrigerator will cost you money.

Another way that I show my love of food is with the gifts I give to friends and family. I always try to make their favorite thing for them to enjoy whenever I can. But on those occasions that I can't personally deliver my brothers favorite Red Velvet Cake I send gourmet food baskets. They've become a carefree way for me to come up with the perfect gift. My sister loves coffee, so she gets a gourmet coffee food basket gift. My mother in law loves tea, so she gets a gourmet food basket with specialty teas. My best girlfriend is a choco-holic who always loves to receive my gift of a chocolate gourmet food basket.
